We know homes, especially old ones

We’re homeowners and landlords who have done extensive energy retrofits and renovations in four very different buildings (two three-family homes, a brick bow-front row house, and an A-frame!). Altogether we’ve greened up 10 different households.

We love our homes and appreciate that they reflect our values and provide a comfortable home base for the rest of our lives. We’ll share our practical hands-on knowledge about

• stuffing buildings with insulation

• swapping out gas stoves for induction

• buying Energy Star appliances, heat pumps and EVs

• replacing windows (so many!)

Throughout our careers as leaders, managers, and innovators we’ve helped people develop plans, make decisions, and get things done. Getting everyone on the same page and agreeing to big decisions can slow you down or even stop you. We can help.

We’re climate savvy and energy nerdy

• We’re energy and building nerds, so we’re up on all the amazing possibilities and tools that we have access to right here, right now.

• As climate moms we’ve been active locally and statewide organizing other moms and young people for a just energy transition.

• We’ve worked with the City of Boston to develop its sustainability plan and its consumer choice energy program.

• We’ve led a volunteer statewide task force for advancing renewable energy and efficiency measures.

• We’re going deep into the details of the booming global energy transition to know what it means for individuals and families so that you don’t have to.
